2016 Toyota 4Runner interior features

Among drivers, the 4Runner is known for its high power and capable engine, but one of the unsung features of it is its comfortable interior. Inside the new 2016 Toyota 4Runner, drivers are able to take on even the toughest terrains without it affecting the comfort of their drive. Take a look at the great features that come inside the 4Runner, designed to provide you and your passengers with comfort.

4Runner interior seating

Whether you’ve got a big family or are in charge of the weekly carpool, the 2016 Toyota 4Runner is ready to carry everyone. With the base level 4Runner, you’ve got room for up to five passengers to sit comfortably. Behind the second row seat, you have 47.2 cubic feet of cargo space for storing all of your gear. If that’s not enough, the second row 40/20/40 split folding seat is capable of folding completely flat, freeing up a total of 89.7 cubic feet.

If your family upgrades to the SR or Limited trim levels, you gain a number of benefits. One being the seat material switching to SofTex-trimmed seats with heated front seats. You can also opt to have an entire 50/50 split third row of seating added, providing even more room for passengers.

For models with the third row seating, a one-touch walking function is added, making it easy to fold the middle seats forward, which makes it easier for passengers to get in and out of the third row. This function works using two different levers that work similarly, one accessible from outside the vehicle and the other from the third row.
